Or maybe you’re simply curious about what people are building and working on around Christchurch. \nJoin us for an evening of networking\, collaboration\, and constructive feedback with Christchurch’s innovators\, entrepreneurs\, creatives\, and problem-solvers. \n🤝 Networking\nMeet fellow entrepreneurs\, founders\, innovators\, creatives\, and community members over food and drinks. \n🔥👏 Roast & Toast\nOur signature interactive session where ideas are challenged\, refined\, celebrated\, and strengthened through community feedback. \nWhat is Roast & Toast?\nThe concept is simple: every great idea benefits from both encouragement and honest feedback. \n🔥 The Roast is the constructive part — thoughtful questions\, alternative perspectives\, identifying blind spots\, challenging assumptions\, and helping presenters think through problems. \n👏 The Toast is the celebration part — recognising what’s working\, highlighting strengths and opportunities\, and sharing useful resources\, connections\, or introductions.\nThe goal isn’t to tear ideas down. It’s to help people leave with new insights\, useful connections\, and practical next steps. \n🚀 Roast & Toast Format\nWe’ll have 4–5 innovators\, each with up to 10 minutes to introduce an idea\, project\, startup\, or challenge they’re currently working through.\nIf you’re one of our pitchers\, we’ll send you a short \npre-event Roast & Toast form to complete before the meetup; https://forms.gle/gEU66JNfthWSFFnw8 \nYou don’t need a perfectly polished pitch or slide deck.
