Come join us for an evening of shared learnings and kōrero of what’s it like to be a wahine in data 🙂 \nWe thank Younity for sponsoring the event\, and EPIC for providing the eent space. \n  \n \nSuzanne O’Connor \nWith over 30 years of experience in IT and Business Intelligence across New Zealand and South Africa\, Suzanne O’Connor has worked in a wide range of industries and roles –  from consultant and contractor to full-time employee. Throughout her career\, she has navigated the challenges of balancing full-time work with raising children\, taking time away to focus on family\, and later reintegrating into the workforce\, often in new roles and new countries. Her adaptability and resilience have been key to her ongoing growth and success in a constantly evolving industry. \nSuzanne is a Senior Developer in the BI & Data team at ANZCO Foods\, where she is responsible for developing and maintaining the organisation’s data warehouse and driving the transition to a modern data platform. \n  \n \nStacy Pritchard \nStacy has over 30 years of experience in Information Technology. Much of those years were spent in software development companies in the US. Her experience includes system administration\, information security\, program management and marketing automation\, before landing on data. Stacy has worked on delivery of a customer master data management solution as well as multiple Snowflake data platform implementations for support of reporting\, analytics\, data science\, and AI. Stacy is currently the Head of Data and Development at Alliance Group. \n  \n \nJackie Roodt \nJackie is the Data and Insights Team Leader at Enable Fibre Networks\, where she leads a dynamic team dedicated to transforming data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. With a strong focus on evidence-based approaches\, Stacy works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful analytics solutions. She’s passionate about empowering others through data and plays a key role in driving Enable’s data strategy forward. Jackie overseas the management and development of their enterprise data warehouse\, ensuring the integrity\, accessibility\, and value of our data assets across the organisation. \n  \n \nBronwyn Wadsworth \nBronwyn is an experienced Data Strategy and Analytics specialist with over 25 years’ experience helping organisations turn data into strategic\, actionable insight. Microsoft-certified and technically fluent in SQL\, Power BI\, and data architecture\, she combines deep technical capability with strong business acumen and governance expertise. \nCurrently the Senior Data Strategist and BI Specialist at Fern Energy\, Bronwyn leads enterprise-wide initiatives in data strategy\, governance\, and digital innovation. She has a proven record of designing scalable data platforms\, embedding data quality and compliance practices\, and mentoring teams to build data literacy and confidence. \nBronwyn is also active in governance\, serving as a director for iwi-owned aquaculture companies in the Top of the South\, where she ensures Māori values are represented in sustainable resource management.
